It determines the strategic direction, business plan, objectives and governance structure that will help achieve the long-term success of the company and deliver sustainable services.

Stephen Rebel
Stephen studied medicine at Guy’s King’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals Medical School in London and went on to complete GP training in Tunbridge Wells in 2007. He joined Kings Medical Centre in Buckhurst Hill in 2008. In addition to his GP duties, he undertakes musculoskeletal work and joint injections. Stephen is also a GP trainer and enjoys helping to educate doctors at the start of their GP journey.
He is currently the Co-Lead for the Loughton, Buckhurst Hill and Chigwell PCN group and in particular leads on the Respiratory Hub that the PCN runs.

Rob Gerlis
Rob was a GP Principal working at the Ross Practice in Harlow for 34 years. He was Chair of West Essex Clinical Commissioning Group from it’s formation in 2012 to the abolishment of CCG’s in 2022. He joined the Board of Princess Alexandra Hospital as an Associate Non- Executive Director in 2022 and became Chair of Stellar Healthcare April 2022.
He qualified at The London Hospital Medical College, Whitechapel in 1982 and completed his GP training in Epping in 1986, where he worked at Princess Alexandra Hospital Harlow, St. Margaret’s Hospital, Epping and Herts and Essex Community Hospital in Bishops Stortford. Dr Gerlis was involved in Primary Care Management since entering General Practice and was Professional Executive Committee Chair for Harlow Primary Care Group from 2006.
He obtained the RCGP Part 2 certification in the Management of Substance Abuse (2008) , and had a special interest in dermatology and minor surgery having spent 18 months as a Dermatology Clinical Assistant at PAH. He gained Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2013.
He is currently a Chair & team member for Sawbridgeworth Tennis & Pickleball Club. He enjoys travelling, gardening and art. He became a Granddad to 2 grand-daughters in 2023. |

Anna Beeston
Anna began her NHS career as an Intensive Care nurse in central London before moving into management roles at Moorfields Eye Hospital, the Royal Free Hospital and more recently in primary care at Stellar Healthcare. As well as her nursing degree, she has a BA(Hons) in Theology and Philosophy and MA in Management Studies.
Outside of work, Anna plays the ‘cello in orchestras in London and East Anglia. |
Dr Imran Gohar
After completing his family medicine training in Harlow, Essex in 2007, Dr Gohar joined Sydenham House Health Centre in 2010, as a partner, and now manages it as Lead GP. For over 10 years, Dr Gohar has been working as a board member and business development director in Stellar Healthcare, leading the clinical and business governance committees.
He has worked as a clinical lead for urgent care at the West Essex CCG in 2013. During this period, he was elected as a council member for The Partnership of East London Co-operatives (PELC). The roles included working on the business and clinical boards and as a Vice Chair member until 2020. During the pandemic, Dr Gohar also worked on the advisory board of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). |
Vishal Kapil
Dr Vishal Kapil is honoured to serve as the Medical Director here at Stellar Healthcare. With over 15 years of experience in healthcare, Vishal is dedicated to ensuring that every patient receives the highest standard of care. His passion lies in primary care & preventive medicine, and he is committed to fostering an environment of compassion, innovation, and excellence. He holds a Medicine degree from Bharti Vidyapeeth Medical College, India & completed the GP training in the local Vocational training scheme. He is also a GP appraiser & Trainer with EoE Deanery.
Outside of his professional life, he enjoys watching & playing cricket for the village team. He is an avid traveller who is constantly seeking new cultures and experiences.

Debbie Ryan
Debbie is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, where she read Natural Sciences.
She gained her commercial experience in the private sector, leading multi functional teams at Board level, and specialising in delivering profit and operational efficiencies across complex service scenarios. Debbie moved to the NHS in 2017 to use this experience in the public sector, bringing a fresh perspective and operational expertise to support Healthcare models. She is passionate about a positive team environment and delivering results through people.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also likes walking, and is a keen gardener. |
