About Us

Stellar Healthcare is a GP provider organisation formed of 21 shareholding practices, working together to deliver high-quality, integrated healthcare services across West Essex and surrounding areas.

Established in 2014, we enable general practice to operate at scale—designing and delivering services that improve access, patient outcomes, and system efficiency. Our portfolio includes a Community Rheumatology service, delivery of the Urgent Treatment Centre at Princess Alexandra Hospital in partnership with system colleagues, enhanced access services providing out-of-hours GP appointments, and primary care provision within a specialist neuro-rehabilitation setting.

Collaboration is central to our approach. We work closely with local GP providers, system partners, and multidisciplinary organisations as part of the Princess Alexandra Hospital Health Care Partnership, the Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC) Provider Collaborative, and the wider West Essex GP Provider Organisation. Through these partnerships, we ensure that primary care plays a leading role in shaping responsive, sustainable healthcare services for our population.
